Rowdy Motorsports driver Brandon Thomas is looking for a clean sweep of the Daytona speed-weeks. Brandon said "Our car came off the truck last week and was fast from the get go, we have made very few changes since we unloaded it. We had a very strong car during the bud shootout we took the lead on the 18th lap and never looked back leading 33 out of 50 laps. We had a some engine trouble on the second lap of qualifying for the 500 which made us start in last place of the 2nd ASI Duel. We managed to get up front by the 3rd lap and led I believe 38 laps. We will be looking for the elusive Daytona 500 victory tonight, I know it will be a tough group of guys on hand tonight, but the crew has told me this is a spare car that was created for this one race all they need back is the steering wheel." We at Rowdy Motorsports are very excited about what has happened over the last 2 weeks and look forward to getting 2010 started tonight. It should be a long year full of tough competition.
